  • What is the "7 Days and 7 Nights Challenge"?

The “7 Days and 7 Nights Challenge” is a challenge where you cannot say any negative things to a person. This challenge gives you a chance to realize how your words or actions can hurt someone. Also this challenge gives you a chance to be nice.

  • How does bullying impact the learning and overall school experience of your students?

Bullying impacts the learning and overall school experience of your students by giving facts on bullying. Bullying is happening all around us in today’s society. By talking about bullying in our classrooms it gives the students a chance to open up about how they feel about bullying. Also gives them a chance to seek for help if they are being bullied. The more we push the topic of bullying the less problems we have on bullying within the school system and society.

  • What can we apply from Scary's explanation of the size of a person's storage tank?

Scray’s explanation of the size of a person’s storage tank we can apply that everyone is the same. No matter how big or small you are you can love and care for someone equally. This explanation gives you example of how you cannot replace hate with hate. Everyone should be treated equal.

  • How do the lessons of helping others and never judging others prevent bullying in elementary and later on?

The lessons of helping others and never judging others prevent bullying in elementary and later on by giving awareness. By giving awareness it helps students be more aware of why bullying is not ok. This lesson gives the students an ideal of how they should treat people.

  • How and how often do you address such lessons on character and kindness?

As teacher I would address character and kindness to my students at least every day. By addressing this lesson I would put them into groups and have they do an activity on character and kindness. It is important as a teacher to let your students know how they should treat each other in and out of the classroom.

  • How do these issues relate to student's academic success?

These issues relate to student’s academic success by giving the students a chance to learn more about bullying. The more we force awareness to them the lesson problems we have within the school systems. These issues always helps students to take their minds off of negative things and have their minds on more positive things.

Parents and other adults might unintentionally teach behaviors that lead to bullying by telling their kids if someone hit you or harm you any type of way you should do the same to them. By telling kids this you are giving them the ok to fight back.

  • What is shared as the most significant thing for parents to do if their child is crying, sad, or angry?

The most significant thing for parents to do if their child is crying, sad, or angry is to confront them. As a parent you would never want to see your child down. There are two types of parents. Parents that care about their child’s well-being and a parents that doesn’t care.

  • Why does "ignoring a problem" not work? 

Ignoring a problem does not work because it would never be resolve. Ignoring a problem could only cause more problems. By putting aside a problem would only build more stress on you and the problem.
